Kelowna, BC - Well known Kelowna singer/songwriters Jim and Kim Rhindress are releasing their first full length album Cut Flowers, A Bouquet of Canadian songs and are showcasing it in style September 18th with a full theatre show complete with props and sets at The Rotary Centre for the Performing Arts in Kelowna.
The album release concert will be performed in the 320 seat Mary Irwin Theatre with a 6-piece band comprised of some of the best-known musicians in the region: bassist Cyril Schermann, pianist Bob Silversides, drummer Scott Evans and guitarist Gui Pizzolato.
Five years in the making, the couple began writing original songs in 2017 moved by the people they met in their travels across Canada. Rhindress songs cover a wide range of styles from country to blues to rock to ballads.
“In addition to the ten songs on the album, we will be premiering four new songs that might be on our next album,” says bandleader Jim Rhindress. “Playing in a theatre is a special event and we plan to fully utilize everything the theatre has to offer,” adds Kim “it’s going to be a big show with songs people of all ages will enjoy”.
